This training program will provide novice or amateur horse owners with a deep insight into the fine skill of purchasing horses that are suitable for exactly what you want them for. It will cover:

• How to look
• Where to look
• What to look for
• What to avoid
• How to palpate for tell tale signs of prior injury
• How to haggle for an honest value based price
• How to see a bargain
• How to purchase a bargain

You will be led through:

• Conformation and assessment
• Simple soundness checks
• Under saddle assessment

We will also take you through methods of Pre-Purchase Vet checks including the science of Infrared Thermography Imaging which can provide you with an internationally recognised and independent Veterinary Report.

This course is great fun as students select from a group a pretend horse to buy.
